07/20/2009: A new version of Carpod has been released which brings significant improvements to the Carpod user interface. These modifications were the result of invaluable input and feedback received from numerous franchise and independent dealerships around the country.

Specific Enhancements to note:

• Simplified User Interface
• The entire Carpod site has been revamped to simplify the display of data and make the user interface more intuitive and easier to navigate through the most used functions for new and experienced users alike.
• Focus on Core Functions
• Carpod has been updated to allow those dealers providing their listing inventories manually via Carpod to focus on the most critical functions required to enter and manage those listings as efficiently as possible. The display of Sold Listings and Failed Listings on the previously associated tabs has been removed. Carpod now notifies users of critical issues with listings requiring their attention immediately upon entry into Carpod, and users can still mark listings as sold on the Listings tab to update their inventory displayed on the CUDL AutoSmart site.
• Simplified Entry and Management of Multiple Listing Types
• Entry of the multiple listing types supported by Carpod has been made easier and more self explanatory. Click on the Add Listing tab to choose a listing type to enter (choose from a drop-down list or click on the appropriate listing type name or icon) then follow the simple guided steps to enter your listing details and upload images if you like.
• Uploading and Managing Listing Images
• The ability to upload, organize and manage listing images in Carpod has been turbocharged! Carpod now allows you to upload and view multiple listing images, re-order them by dragging & dropping and remove unwanted images all via one simple easy to use interface.
• iPhone Compatibility
• The Carpod web site is now compatible with the iPhone. Simply navigate to carpod.net from your iPhone's Safari browser, and once you have logged in for the first time you can add the site to your iPhone's Home Screen by clicking the "+" at the bottom of the browser window and touching the "Add to Home Screen" button. You can then access Carpod from your iPhone quickly and easily by simply clicking on the Carpod button on your Home Screen!
  
  Note: The current version of Carpod does not yet support uploading listing image files via the iPhone. Full support of uploading images via the iPhone will be made available in the next Carpod release, coming soon!
